A Mimic Gets Its Own Key Ring
The acrylic key rings are the most story-specific part of this wave. Each measures about 70mm, and three designs are on offer: a solo Frieren, a solo Himmel, and a "Frieren & Mimic" piece that freezes the moment the thousand-year-old mage gets swallowed by a treasure chest. Japanese anime news site Anime Anime writes that Frieren's cry of "It's dark!! It's scary!!" almost carries through the acrylic. Each key ring is ¥990 (about $6.50).
Frieren's inability to walk past a treasure chest has been a running joke since the first season, so the scene reaches a key ring with its punchline already attached.
Hologram Art Boards and a Sleeping Frieren
The most elaborate item is the hologram acrylic art board, built as three layers: two printed illustration layers stacked over a hologram sheet. At roughly 120 by 140mm, it suits a desk or a shelf rather than a wall. It comes in two designs, one of Frieren alone and one pairing her with Himmel. Both are ¥2,970 (about $20).
The A4 clear files are the cheapest entry at ¥550 (about $3.60) each. Both print across the full surface with no finger-hook cutout, so the artwork runs uninterrupted to the edge. The two designs are "Frieren & Himmel" and "Frieren vol.2," the latter showing Frieren fast asleep.
All three product lines are on preorder now at CharaON (きゃらON!), a Japanese online store that already stocks a wide range of Frieren goods. They go on sale December 4, 2026.
The Series This Shelf Space Is For
Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe's manga is set in the world after the heroes have already killed the Demon King. Frieren, an elf mage who has lived more than a thousand years, barely registers how short human lives are until the death of Himmel, the hero she fought alongside, sends her out on a journey to understand people. Anime Anime credits the series' popularity to how far it swings between comic character banter and serious fights built on magic and swords.
The TV anime premiered in September 2023 at Madhouse (One-Punch Man, Death Note), directed by Keiichirō Saitō, with Atsumi Tanezaki voicing Frieren and Nobuhiko Okamoto voicing Himmel. Evan Call composed the score.
Looking Ahead
The anime's third season, covering the Golden Land arc, begins broadcasting in October 2027, with Madhouse returning to animate and a teaser visual already out showing the demon Macht of the Golden Land. That puts this merch drop roughly ten months ahead of the premiere.
For international fans, Crunchyroll streams the series, including an English dub, and Season 2 added Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubs in February 2026. The manga is published in English by Viz Media, and volume 15 is dated December 8, 2026, four days after these goods ship in Japan. The CharaON listing covered by Anime Anime does not mention overseas shipping, so the usual proxy-service caveats apply for orders from outside Japan.
