Seven new TV anime begin airing in Japan on Monday, October 5, 2026, according to a Futaman+ guide to the fall season published on Yahoo! News. They include PSYREN, which the outlet says reaches television about 16 years after Toshiaki Iwashiro's Weekly Shōnen Jump manga ended, and Hello, I Am a Witch and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion!, described there as a love story whose series has topped 1 million copies.

- Yūsanchi! from Yūhachi (ゆうさんち!from 遊ハち). Fuji TV and Kansai TV, Mondays and Fridays at around 11 a.m. inside Fuji TV's Non-Stop!. An omnibus short anime based on three works by Yūhachi, who publishes work on social media. A roughly 40-centimeter bee-like creature, a silent fish hung up in a convenience store and tanuki that lose even to mice all have odd exchanges with humans. Chiaki is among the cast.
- Funbaruzu (ふんばるず). TOKYO MX and other stations, Mondays at 9:54 p.m. A short anime based on Dreams' plush toys of the same name, which are designed to be wedged between a desk and the user's stomach. It follows a sloth, Nossori, and his friends: overheard human conversation sets off Nossori's daydreams, in which the companions become office workers, idols or astronauts. The cast includes Wataru Komada, Kōtarō Nishiyama and Sayuri Hara, and the production combines 2D artwork, 3DCG and AI technology.
- So What's Wrong with Getting Reborn as a Goblin? (転生ゴブリンだけど質問ある?). TOKYO MX, Sun TV and other stations, Mondays at 10 p.m. on TOKYO MX. Office worker Akira Yagami loses his life saving a child and is reborn as a goblin with a lifespan of just seven days. The skill "Human 80 Years" lets him live longer, and he inherits abilities one after another from comrades who die before him. The original work is by Nazuna Miki, with a manga adaptation running in Tonari no Young Jump; Kikunosuke Toya, Yōko Hikasa and Azusa Tachibana are in the cast.
- Hello, I Am a Witch and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion! (どうも、好きな人に惚れ薬を依頼された魔女です。). TOKYO MX, BS NTV and other stations, Mondays at 10:30 p.m. on TOKYO MX. Rose, a witch living on a small island in a lake, is asked to brew a love potion by Harij, the knight she has feelings for, and she drags out the work to keep seeing him. Harij visits every day with food and begins looking after her. The source novels come from the M Novels f imprint, with a manga adaptation in FLOS COMIC; Mikako Komatsu and Yōhei Azakami lead the cast.
- PSYREN (PSYREN -サイレン-). TOKYO MX, Sun TV and BS11, Mondays at 11 p.m. on TOKYO MX. High schooler Ageha Yoshina searches for his missing childhood friend Sakurako Amamiya. A red telephone card picked up at a payphone leads him to contact the secret society Psyren, rumored to be behind a string of mysterious disappearances across Japan. Based on Toshiaki Iwashiro's Weekly Shōnen Jump manga, with Rikuya Yasuda, Mayuko Kazama and Shunsuke Takeuchi in the cast.
- Romelia War Chronicle (ロメリア戦記). TOKYO MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto and other stations, Mondays at 11:30 p.m. on TOKYO MX and Sun TV. Romelia, a count's daughter, has her engagement broken off by the prince immediately after the Demon King is defeated, then takes on the rebuilding of her war-torn homeland by training soldiers, negotiating with merchants and repairing the economy. Demon threats remain after the Demon King's death, and she faces new battles alongside fellow knights. Based on Ryō Ariyama's novels from Gagaga Books, with Yuna Nemoto, Jin Ogasawara and Tomohiro Ōno in the cast.
- Magical Girl Raising Project restart (魔法少女育成計画restart). TV Tokyo, BS Fuji and other stations, Mondays at 26:00 (2 a.m. Tuesday) on TV Tokyo. The second season of the suspense series in which magical girls who help people are pulled into a harsh survival contest. Sixteen new magical girls receive game invitations from an unidentified sender, and the game demands a larger sacrifice at every stage. Based on Asari Endou's novels from the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! Bunko imprint; Honoka Inoue, Yoshino Nanjō and Reina Kondo are in the cast.
