A TV anime adaptation of the novel series Dorei kara no Kitai to Hyōka no Sei de Sakushu Dekinai nodaga has been announced, and a teaser visual was released with the news, according to Anime! Anime!. The image is billed as a "super ultra teaser visual."

The series is one of four Dengeki no Shin Bungei titles that received new media-mix announcements during "Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival Online 2026 powered by ABEMA," streamed from 4 p.m. JST on October 3, 2026, per a KADOKAWA press release. The Anime! Anime! report lists no staff, cast or broadcast date for the anime.

Maware Isogawa (急川回レ) writes the series, with character designs by Heiro, and KADOKAWA publishes it under its Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint. Anime! Anime! calls it an isekai comedy driven by misunderstandings. KADOKAWA's page for the first volume describes a boy who is reincarnated into another world and granted the cheat ability Regeneration by a goddess. It can cure any injury or illness, but with few chances to put it to use he heals enslaved girls instead, planning a harem slow life. The girls mistake him for a capable master and push ahead with developing his territory until he is built up into a demon lord.

Isogawa said in a comment that seeing scenes and background details the novels never touched on being filled in, given sound and color, and brought to life by voice actors was overwhelming. "It is animation that makes you smile despite yourself, so please look forward to it," the author wrote in remarks translated from Japanese.

Heiro and Sachi Nishioka, who draws the manga adaptation, each contributed a congratulatory illustration. Novel volumes 1 through 4 are on sale, with the fifth due October 16, and the manga is out through volume 5.
