The Third Trailer Reveals a Darker Future

The third promotional video, released on June 14, opens with Mikey recording a video message addressed "to Takemichi, 12 years from now." The footage then jumps forward to that future timeline, where a visibly changed Mikey reappears before Takemichi. Sanzu Haruchiyo (三途春千夜) surfaces alongside him. One sequence shows Takemichi staring down the barrel of a gun.

New character designs for both 12-years-later Mikey and Sanzu were published with the trailer. The visual overhaul is a sharp departure from how these characters looked during the Tenjiku arc, the last animated season, which wrapped in late 2023.

Nobuhiko Okamoto (Katsuki Bakugo in My Hero Academia) returns as Sanzu, while Yū Hayashi reprises Mikey. Both actors voiced these roles in the Tenjiku arc, but the time-skip versions call for a markedly different performance.

What the Three Titans Arc Covers

The War of the Three Titans picks up after Mikey disbands the Tokyo Manji Gang. Three rival factions fill the power vacuum: Brahman, Rokuhara Tandai, and a third force. Takemichi leaps back in time once more to confront a fractured underworld and try to save the people closest to him.

LIDEN FILMS returns to animate the arc, with Maki Kodaira taking over as director. Yasuyuki Mutō handles series composition, Hiroaki Tsutsumi scores, and character designs come from Kenichi Ōnuki, Keiko Ōta, Airi Tsuyuki, and Kae Takakura.

Cast additions announced earlier in 2026 for the arc's new factions include Mariya Ise as Senju Kawaragi, Hiroki Yasumoto as South Terano (Rokuhara Tandai's leader), Naoyuki Shimozuru as Takeomi Akashi, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Wakasa Imaushi, and Takanori Hoshino as Keizo Arashi. These characters drive the arc's three-way power struggle.

Looking Ahead

Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc premieres October 2, 2026 in the MBS/TBS/CBC late-night Animeism block. Disney+ holds exclusive worldwide streaming rights, so international fans can watch from day one.

The source manga by Ken Wakui (和久井健) ran in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 2017 to 2022 and is complete. Kodansha USA publishes the English-language edition for readers who want to read ahead. The Three Titans arc covers roughly the final stretch of the manga, bringing the anime adaptation closer to the story's conclusion.
