Yuzusoft's romance visual novel Senren*Banka will be adapted as a TV anime, according to a Comic Natalie report published on November 5, 2026. The anime's official X account opened the same day, PASH! PLUS reported.

The adaptation was announced on July 26 during the second Kanto-area day of Yuzusoft's 2026 song festival, according to Famitsu. Anime News Network reported at the time that the anime will premiere in 2027 and that the announcement did not confirm its format. Comic Natalie's report gives no broadcast period and says details will follow.

In a comment carried by Comic Natalie, Yuzusoft said the cast will be the same as in the game and that KOTOKO will perform the opening theme. The comment credits Komowata with the SD character designs and says Yuzusoft is taking part through supervision. Yuzusoft noted that the adaptation comes 10 years after the game's release and said it is "very much looking forward to seeing the characters moving all over the screen" (translated).

Game artist Kobuichi drew a new illustration for the announcement. It shows the heroine Yoshino Tomotake looking back amid falling cherry blossoms, Famitsu reported.

Set in a traditional hot-spring town, Senren*Banka follows a protagonist who pulls out a divine sword, along with heroines including Yoshino, the shrine maiden princess of the local deity. Comic Natalie reports that the game has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide.
