Spoiler warning: This article discusses episodes 12–13 and the events recorded in the diary.
In Mushoku Tensei Season 3, episode 13, "Diary," Rudeus reads the diary left by his older self. It recounts the future that older Rudeus lived through; Roxy’s death in that account is not a report of her death in the present timeline.
What does the diary reveal?
The official Japanese synopsis gives the message he leaves behind: consult Nanahoshi, write to Eris, and distrust Hitogami without making an enemy of him. Rudeus then opens the diary entrusted to him.
After episode 13 aired, the official website published the diary section from volume 15 of the original novel (in Japanese). Readers who want to consult the original passage can find it there; it contains diary spoilers.
For the events leading up to the diary, read our episode 12 recap, published after it aired. It contains spoilers.
When will Season 3 continue?
On September 28, 2026, the official website announced Season 3’s second cour for 2027. That announcement gives the year, but no premiere month or day.
