A TV anime of the manga Booty Royale: Never Go Down Without a Fight! (はぐれアイドル地獄変) will begin airing in January 2027, Comic Natalie reported on November 6, 2026. Hisako Tōjō will voice lead character Misora Haebaru.
The announced cast also includes Nao Shiraki as Sarah Goujima, Natsumi Murakami as Chae Yoon-Hee and Hikaru Iida as Nene Kori. Raiose is handling animation production, and ZincP is composing the music.
Comic Natalie describes the story as a blend of idols, fighting and sexy violence. Misora dreams of becoming a singer and relies on her karate skills to protect her chastity while surviving in show business.
The manga's creator noted in a comment that serialization began 12 years ago. "Following the live-action film adaptation six years ago, this time it's an anime. Please enjoy the first season," the creator said (translated). The director said the aim is to bring the original's momentum to the anime intact.
Shiraki, who was cast through an audition, joked: "My heart is pounding over how much of it will air... and whether it can air at all (laughs)" (translated).
According to Anime News Network, the anime comes from WWWave Corporation's Deregula label, and Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga under its Ghost Ship adult imprint.
