Oshi no Ko Season 3 Reveals Ending Theme by Natori and First Trailer

The third season of Oshi no Ko is set to premiere on January 14, 2026, with the announcement revealing the ending theme performer, first promotional video, and main visual. Music creator Natori has been confirmed to perform the ending theme song titled "Serenade."

Based on the entertainment suspense manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari serialized in Weekly Young Jump from 2020 to 2024, Oshi no Ko follows Goro, an obstetrician reincarnated as Aqua, the hidden child of his favorite idol Ai Hoshino. Together with his twin sister Ruby, also a reincarnated soul, Aqua enters the entertainment industry to uncover the truth behind Ai's death. The manga concluded with 16 volumes, while the anime aired its first season in 2023 and second season in 2024.

The ending theme "Serenade" receives its first preview in the newly released promotional video. The trailer opens with footage from the variety show "Dig Deep☆One Chance!!" featuring Aqua and Ruby, showcasing the characters as they've risen to mid-tier status in the entertainment world. Natori commented on creating the song: "Every time I tried to understand Aqua as a person, I felt like I was being dropped into the bottom of an inescapable darkness. I created this song with the hope that at least during the time this music plays, he could sleep happily."

The main visual brings together Aqua and Ruby alongside Akane Kurokawa, an actress from the Lalalai theater troupe, and B Komachi members Kana Arima and MEM-cho, the idol unit on the verge of breaking through that Ruby belongs to. Behind them, the figure of Ai is depicted with her back turned. Six new individual character visuals have also been released.

A Christmas tree lighting ceremony inspired by the series will take place on December 14 at Shibuya Tokyu Plaza in Tokyo. Voice actors Yurie Igoma, Megumi Han, Rumi Okubo, and Rie Takahashi are scheduled to appear. One hundred attendees will be selected by lottery from those who purchase merchandise at the "Oshi no Ko POP UP SHOWCASE at TOKYU PLAZA SHIBUYA" starting November 28. The showcase will feature advance sales of goods using newly drawn illustrations with a gift theme.

An advance screening of the third season's first episode will be held on December 28 at Marunouchi Piccadilly in Tokyo. The earliest 9:30 AM screening will include a talk show, while the 11:40 AM screening will feature a stage greeting. Both events will have appearances by voice actors Takeo Otsuka, Yurie Igoma, Megumi Han, Manaka Iwami, and Rumi Okubo. The stage greeting will be broadcast live to theaters nationwide. Attendees will receive the "Japan Nationwide Project [47 Prefectures' Children] Special Postcard" entrance gift in eight varieties, with Marunouchi Piccadilly distributing complete sets and simulcast venues providing one design corresponding to their region.

Oshi no Ko Season 3 begins broadcasting on January 14, 2026, on TOKYO MX and over 30 stations nationwide, with streaming also starting on ABEMA and other platforms.
