Kanazawa Gold Leaf Meets the Demon Slayer Corps
GARRACK's S-MEISTER line already featured Demon Slayer collaboration pieces, but this latest pair adds two fan-favorite supporting characters to the lineup. Both watches use Kanazawa gold leaf, the same traditional craft found on Kyoto's famous Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion). Each dial is finished by hand, with artisans beating gold to roughly 0.1 micrometers thick before applying it to the watch face. The result is a piece where no two dials are identical.
Both models run the MIYOTA 82S5 automatic movement, assembled in Japan. The 42mm stainless steel case includes a see-through caseback so you can watch the rotor spin, paired with a calf leather strap and 5 ATM water resistance. Functional enough for daily wear, though you probably won't want to take a ¥74,800 watch into a hot spring.
The Genya Model: Scars, a Crow, and a Gun Hand
Genya's watch leans on his rougher edges. The index markers are styled after his facial scars, with a Kasugai crow perched at the 12 o'clock position. A small disc rotating once per second carries the motif of Genya's Nichirin sword guard. The minute hand takes the shape of his Nichirin blade, while the hour hand references his signature Nanban gun. Genya's scar is also rendered across the dial in Kanazawa leaf, giving the whole face a battle-worn quality that still reads as elegant.
The Kanao Model: Butterflies and a Ribbon in Gold
Kanao's design is more delicate. The 12 o'clock index features a butterfly inspired by her hair ornament, and the per-second rotating disc uses her Nichirin sword guard as its motif. Her Nichirin sword shapes the minute hand; the hour hand mimics a sheath. The standout detail is Kanao's haori ribbon, recreated in Kanazawa leaf across the dial. Collectors pairing both watches will notice how it contrasts with Genya's scar-heavy design.
The Franchise Behind the Watches
Koyoharu Gotouge's manga ran for 23 volumes in Shueisha's Jump Comics and has moved over 220 million copies. The anime adaptation from ufotable has been running since April 2019. The theatrical trilogy Infinity Castle is currently in progress, with Part 1 (Akaza Returns) earning ¥40.2 billion (approximately $260 million) at the Japanese box office across 266 days and 27.46 million admissions, landing it as the second-highest domestic gross in Japanese cinema history behind the franchise's own Mugen Train. The Part 1 Blu-ray and DVD arrive July 29.
Looking Ahead
Pre-orders for both the Genya and Kanao S-MEISTER watches opened today, June 5, 2026, with a full release set for July 3. Select stores will carry the watches early. Both models are priced at ¥74,800 (approximately $480) including tax. GARRACK's product page has full ordering details.
For international fans hoping to pick one up, no overseas retailer has been announced. Japan-based proxy shopping services remain the most reliable route for limited anime collaboration goods like these. With the Infinity Castle Part 1 Blu-ray arriving later that same month on July 29, July is shaping up as a heavy spending month for Demon Slayer collectors.
